Our Leadership

John is a servant at heart. His leadership is unmatched. He is passionate about bringing everyone to Christ whether that be through everyday interaction or through convicting, biblically sound sermons. His goal is to equip all of God's people with biblical knowledge to apply to their everyday lives and go spread His word.

John holds a Bachelor of  Arts in Religion from Samford University. He and his wife, Vanessa, joined us in March of 2010. They have three grown children, Jeremy, Joanna, and Clayton and four grandchildren.

Josh is passionate about instilling the love of Christ in our students and teaching them to serve and lead like Christ. He also steps into the pulpit to lead  our congregation whenever he can. Through his teaching and example, he pushes our students and our congregation to live a Christ centered life in all they do.

Josh joined us in January of 2014 and married his wife, Rebecca later that same year. They have two little boys, Judah and Josiah. He holds a Bachelors in Pastoral Ministry degree from The Baptist College of Florida, a Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary,  and is currently pursuing his PhD in Biblical Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Casey remembers wanting to be a church secretary growing up, but never thought that dream would come true. After having her first child and leaving her corporate job, God opened the doors for her to join us on staff here at Siloam.

Casey joined us in November of 2021. She is a native of Selma and now resides in Marion with her husband, Chad, and daughter, Laurel. 

Vanessa never thought she would be on staff with her husband, but here she is! She will make anyone smile and laugh with her contagious personality. As well as serving on staff here at Siloam, Vanessa is the Executive Director - Alabama Military Hall of Honor at Marion Military Institute.

Vanessa is married to our senior pastor, John, and they share three children, Jeremy, Joanna, and Clayton and four grandchildren. She gracefully leads our congregation in music every week, as well as directs our adult choir. 

Miriam has an angelic singing voice and has mastered the art of playing the piano. Each time you listen to her, whether singing or playing the piano, you will feel God's presence.  She also helps lead our praise and worship each Sunday.

Miriam is married to Jeremy, and they have two little boys, Jared and Daniel. She is a graduate of the historic Judson College and enjoys baking and playing with her boys.

Most churches no longer have an organist. Siloam is blessed to have one of the best! Mrs. Betsy has been playing the organ for many years here. She has also been known to give lessons to some aspiring to learn.

Mrs. Betsy has two grown children and has been a resident of Marion for most of her adult life. She faithfully plays the organ for us each Sunday with a smile on her face.
